LIFE IS ABOVE IT ALL....

In this harmonic chaos and patterned jumble of everyday that we call human life, I have observed one thing common to all- A REASON..

A reason to live, A reason to love;
A reason to try, A reason to cry;
Without a reason its all a lie.

It is this reason that marks the difference between 'living life' and 'simply existing'. A reason is what gives our life its quality. Each one is entitled to possess a different set od reasons, which may vary with time and circumstance. This reason for some may be material, for some emotional, for some spiritual and for some etheral.
Now at this point, most would try to figure in some corner of their mind.."What is my reason??..that which give my life its quality". And to find out, again most. I'm sure, went the route of.."What is it that my life is meaningless without??"..not surprisingly most even come up with an answer--music, football, work, a goal, cricket and more often than not, a person.
But what I think is...though this reason to live is extremely important..
LIFE IS ABOVE IT ALL....
The loss, the heartbreak, the tragedy, the revelations, the petty issues, the pithy joys.. all of it....
Its all constant..but the only constant thing is LIFE.
Its just that the parameters change the direction, the reason, the quality..while life still goes on...
You can reacquire material possessions find a new love, overcome loss and tragedy, accept revelations..... Then at the end of it RE-EMERGE living life with a new reason, just proving that...
LIFE IS ABOVE IT AL...

Agree with most of it... But not the main theme... Thru the perspective of 1 who sees no reason fit to live n neither sees any arriving in the future... I have to disagree... Look thru that perspective n you might just agree... U may say it's temporary but i don't think so...

since u like poems ill comment in a poem form...

i hear what ur sayin
and im gettin what u mean
but life should have its meanin
to see farther than uve ever seen

life is not the constant
coz it eventually ends
u make ur reason a reason for others
and see how ur life extends

great men have lived through their hours
through their sorrows and their pains
but today their reasons live on with us
so did they die in vain....?

well true to an extent.. but u noe sometimes, you'd much rather not realize that life's above it all.. there's a possibility that a horrifying void might creep in wen u hv lost that reason, albeit temporarily.. u might end up wandering aimlessly literally searchin fer that REasOn. but then again, there are a lot of times wen u'd wanna make urself believe that life is above it all.. two sides of a coin i guess..

well, life is not above IT ALL.. stressing on all cuz i doubt any of us lives widout a reason.. it sure is above a lot of things varying from ppl to ppl.. but there has to be a few or atleast one(must be the rarest possibilty) reason for a person to exist even if tht reason is not controlled by the person himself/herself.. but he/she is living because of tht reason.. it might very well be divine intervention thts the reason for someone to be living (not his/her wish but still....)!!!

@akshay..i agree every1 requires a reason...but what i've said is...that reason is variable an as a result is petty...tho most important...its a contradictory world we live in...
