just something beautiful i came across...

I'm not begging you to love me.
I'm not really even asking you to.
But isn't it alright if i cherish that hope in my heart ?
If i just dream of holding your hand it will hurt me and not you.
I'll try to keep my eyes from shining when they see you and
i promise not to smile a special smile when you say hello.
But please...
Don't ask me
Not to love you.

fine. i won't. :P

seriously though - i wonder why we're so fond of living in our dreamworlds - i suppose in that sense hope is a sort of an opiate...

just lovely .....some of my thoughts u mirrored them well in ur words ....
hmmm do u think it will be possible for ur eyes not to shine when they see that spl person .....
tried doing that , we do end up with heartbreak with no hope comin in from the opp person

hmmm..unconditional love this!
but i dot like words like these..they leave no self respect...especially in todays times when ppl dump u without much care..

@dharmabum:
sometimes we require that world which we design specifically for our happiness and that opiate to save us from pain of reality..

@annie:
thanks annie....
busy....just with my studies and stuff...am doing a few extra things as well so that gives me no time to post really....

@Manisha:
well my heart is already broken with respect to this...but yea with an effort u can keep ur eyes from shining and ur lips from smiling that special smile...

@Ashu:
yea..i felt so too...

@nisha punjabi:
u r absolutely right...they totally lack self respect..but u kno i might keep that facade up for the significant other...but if i'm being honest with myself..i have no pride and ego when i love....i just display it to protect myself...

nisha punjabi said...

hmmm..thr shud be no pride and ego when it comes to love. but sadly we are living in an era where no one respects that. in the end u end up being miserable.
maybe u r right..least we can do is pretend!

the pain of reality. why is reality always juxtaposed in such a manner? if it really were real, that very attribute would make it a happy thing, no?

hey how are you??
That was beautiful...is it anyway related to ur life??;)

you aren't making posts quite often as you would be..why?? busy?

@ dharma:
hey actually now that u mention it...why is it a general notion that reality is painful...maybe it is....but atleast it actually IS...
u kno...
i dont really crib about life...i love mine...
but u've given me a new angle to think on..(bad timing..i've got exams coming up...why do such thots occur only whe u really don't have the time for them??)
thanks...cheers!

@jeya:

very moving...arouses pity for people who are trapped in one sided love...

living a thing like love, all alone...
sharing the pleasures and the pains just with your own self..tough job we all know.
& the way you capture the right emotions is amazing! :)

@dharmabum:
thanks...but unfortunately i'm EXACTLY like that!!;)

@KP:

@Floyd:

@Vipin:

@greekalphabet:
right u are...from the perspective of practicality..its being a hopelessly pathetic fool....but...whats the heck..
human heart..more often than not..is foolish..
